Batch 44 - various

Loved these scones for my rest break...

There is not one motorbike parked in the bay at Tesco Ashford

but look at the bay for bicycles and there is one motorbike parked there, clearly in the wrong space at Tesco Ashford.

Batch 43 - Barry Island

A stroll around Barry Island this morning...

Went into Tesco to buy some fly spray but they had sold out.

Batch 42 - new water stop tap.

We had a new water stop tap fitted below our kitchen sink as the old tap was weeping. Cost £90 all in. Shows how the camera on this phone works in low light.

Batch 41 - doing the day job.

The newspapers had not come to our local shop when I went to work this morning, so I bought Gail her newspaper at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

There were many pigeons hoping to catch droppings from the flaky pastry on my pasty as I sat on a bench in Ebury Square.

Batch 40 - rest days

What is it with women about ambient temperatures? Here Gail sits in a pub with her coat on! I am sat opposite her wearing just a polo shirt. She is happy but kept her coat on all the time.

Batch 39 - all in a day's work.

Passengers waiting at Gate 2 in London Victoria Coach Station for a 10:30 departure. However, due to the late arrival of the coach and the need for the driver to have a legally required 45 minute rest break, this coach would not be departing until 11:00 - a 30 minute delay.

The cafe within ASDA serves Seattle's Best Coffee but I was not impressed. I thought my latte was POOR and only gets 2 stars from me.

Very close to the legal maximum of 4 hours 30 minutes driving before a minimum 45 minute break must be taken. There was just another 2 minutes of driving time left. There was the usual congestion along the motorway and going into London but no accidents or diversions to account for this close running to the legal limit.

Batch 38 - Karrimor Summit trainers.

My Karrimor Summit trainers are great value but have had their day. Water has begun to soak into both my socks, so these are photos in memory of them before I fling them into the black wheelie bin.
They are simply great for dog walking and I have another pair in stock.
